It is a bit out of the way but treat it more like retreat in a quite place, better to get there by car and they have plenty of free parking. Rooms are clean and big with all amenities being practical. Lot of games for kids to play hence they would never want to leave the hotel, and must say all those areas are well maintained as well. Staff are very professional and helpful. Wellness area is ok but it can get a bit crowded as it is open for hotel and outside guests I believe. Tried only breakfast in the restaurant and it was very good with plenty of choices.

Horrible Experience! No Power for whole day, no water, lights, flash lights or security! I don’t care what this place tries to say or spin this terrible experience. We were Not provided with any flashlights or security we couldn’t even see 2 inches in front of us. They Only had spiral staircase which was very narrow and dangerous in the darkness. We were led to believe that we would have power by mid afternoon and then 8pm then midnight…No communication was sent to us. No chargers provided or accommodations were available or suggested. We ended up across the street at another hotel that was helping us charge 4 phones so that we could even get to our rooms. Side note: my brother had a Handicap Room on 6th floor and no elevator. From my understanding Scandic operates several hotels in Stockholm. Not once were we offered other accommodations. Then nightfall after we had no choice but to stay, I was ushered up to my room with a man, alone, which was already unfavorable in the security department for me. Then he left me in complete pitch black to seek a key that worked to open my door. I want compensation for this horrible situation! A not a complimentary night with free, very expensive buffet breakfast that was also cut short because of power outage. I Do Not live there nor can I use this pitiful attempt at compensation. I am having an extremely difficult time to even get a personal response. I expect an answer ASAP for status on my Refund.

Room - dirt on ceiling. Rust on shower pan. HOT no a/c. Gave me a fan & said to open window. No concierge staff polite but no local info available. Buffet for breakfast was excellent. Good location if your using AirPort Express train

We booked 2 rooms for a 7nt stay. We had requested 2 rooms close to each other as we are a family of four. Upon checking in we were informed that we were allocated 2 rooms very close to each other. In general the hotel is very good, we were on the 6th floor and both rooms were recently refurbished (very new carpets!). One minor gripe I have is that they did not have any USB charging points built in. These days most hotels have this and especially for a recently refurbished room it was slightly disappointing not to have this, but not a major issue. Plenty of storage spaces in the room and bathroom but could do with a few more clothes hangers. Another minor issue was with the shower; the shower screen in the bath did not have a plastic seal either at the base of the movable section or between the two halves. This meant it was almost impossible to stop water leaking to the floor when having a shower. I don't know if this was just in our shower (Rm 609) or this is the case in all rooms (forgot to check the other room). One of the reasons we booked this hotel was based on the excellent reviews regarding the breakfast. Unfortunately during 5 of the 7 days the main restaurant was closed and breakfast was served in the bar area. This was very underwhelming. It was a small area but we felt the hotel could have done more with the breakfast in this area. The main restaurant was opened on the last 2 days and we cannot fault the breakfast offered on these 2 days. This takes 1 star off.
