I've stayed at this chain in other locations in Tokyo before and they are consistently a great budget friendly option. The hotels are clean, staff is friendly and helpful, and it just feels comfortable overall. There is a slight smell in the bathrooms, but it might be more so because there is little/no ventilation in there. I stayed with a friend and while the room was small, we felt like we had the space we needed.

A wonderful stay in the New Otani. The room was spacious and had all the amenities that I needed in the room. The hotel is so large and the fact that there a shops and restaurants within the complex made it helpful.

The room was slightly bigger than the other Japan hotels we stayed at. Def still tight though if you have a lot of luggage. The amenities were good and we liked the bathroom. The spot is very convenient. The view from our room was nice. We know it’s next to the red light district, but if you are from America it def doesn’t feel like that and the people standing outside have big jackets on. It’s very easy to ignore them. Plus the area has so many restaurants and people around that it kind of jus feels like they are just there.

Room and staff were terrific, location and view was perfect. We had access to four restaurants for breakfast… had any of them been good I would have given a Five Star rating. The breakfast was simply not too the standard of other five star hotels we’ve been all over the world. Hotel was wonderful.
