8.6/10 Excellent! (994 reviews)

The lobby was very nice, but that is all. Being owned by Marriott, the expectation was high and in reality it was low. Our room had black mold in the a/c unit , and a manager refused to refund us for the night even though he admitted to the health concern in that room. We had to find another room at 3 in the morning at a different hotel, because it was hard to breathe and sleep due to how loud the air unit was. The front desk person told us we would get our money back , and a manager would call us . That didn’t happen. We had to reach back out. When we got into the room, we noticed blood on the throw , as well. With a high priced menu for their restaurant and normal standards for excellence for Marriott, the hotel rooms don’t reflect a high quality standard. Our room was unsafe, and management was unwilling to give good customer service to make it right. Don’t stay here! The nostalgia is nice, but there is no cleanly standard.

8/10 Very Good! (1,008 reviews)

Front staff member, Reese, was very helpful and knowledgeable of the property. We chose the property because there was a full service restaurant, which we used and enjoyed. The German menu was authentic and done well. The property is older and in need of TLC. We heard our neighbor’s conversation s and their oft slamming of the door. There is a need for weather stripping on room 3313, towel bar and adjustment of the sink water stop. The road noise was constant, not a fault of the hotel, but the three lane road leading to the National park is busy.
