Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. Facilities were a bit variable: the heating wasn't working but the staff were able to provide an electric heater to overcome that. The shower was either hot or cold, nothing in the middle. Hot was ok, with plenty of flow, so it worked. The food in the restaurant was excellent, good menu, really tasty. Location is great.
