Morgan cabin

my family and I stayed here for a week. Absolutely loved the property the home was very comfortable amazing view. It was really nice to be close to the beach.! Anything you could possibly want for a relaxing stay in Kauai! Highly recommend this place we enjoyed it so much. We booked another week for next year.

Beautiful View of the Ocean

The house was clean and and the view of the ocean was beautiful. Loved the ocean being so close and hearing the waves and tide. The house is about a 20 minute drive to Lydgate Beach, which I recommend visiting while there. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again if lucky enough to get back to Kauai.

Great Quiet Spot

We enjoyed the house. It was everything that was described to us when we rented it. The house is cozy and quiet. You often have a sense of being the only one home in the neighborhood. Loved that!

It’s all about the view

Loved our stay. Spent most of my time on the back lanai. So peaceful and restful. The cool breeze and sound of waves washing over you as you sleep. Doesn’t get better than that. The home is clean and has everything you could need. Great communication and easy check in and out. Want to go again on next trip to kauai. .

A magic place

This is a delightful, cozy home that has everything you need for a relaxing stay on Kauai. The home's "magic" is the wonderful lanai overlooking the ocean. It's a place to spend hours thrilling at the sunrise, watching the clouds sail across the sky and wondering at the moon and stars. It's a great location for enjoying activities all over the island. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

Best Beach House

This is the second time we have stayed here. It was just as we had remembered. We love this little place. It’s perfect for the two of us. Hopefully we will be back again to enjoy it. Our favorite thing to do, when we are not out enjoying the island, is just sit on the lenai and enjoy the breeze coming off the ocean and listening to the waves. We would recommend this little beach house to anyone visiting the island.

Enjoyable time in Kauai

Absolutely Perfect

The house had everything we needed for a relaxing 2 week vacation right on the beach. We saw 12 spinner dolphins and a whale, while enjoying our morning coffee on the deck! The house is centrally located, so getting to Hanalei or Poipu made it easy and your a short drive to Kapaa for groceries. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable! Thank you Al for sharing your beautiful little cabin on the beach!!

From booking, to getting the key to the beach house…. We felt the abundant Aloha! Second stay

This place is simply perfect. Amazing location/view, lots of privacy, great host. I stayed here 10 years ago and was too so happy to go back. We rarely left the house during our 5 night stay. We even ordered a mobile massage (check out Amy's) and they set up on the spacious deck - a very special and recommended treat. The house is a clean, unpretentious, super comfortable, and filled with fresh sea breezes. I adored sleeping to the sound of the lapping waves. The covered deck allows you to enjoy the view in rain or shine. Reliable internet allowed me to work remotely in paradise - there's even an electrical outlet on the porch and extension cords available to get the *perfect* view. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook all our meals as well as blended cocktails :) Icing on the cake was VERY comfortable beds!!!

Just what we needed

Most amazing stay we've had on Kauai- we usually stay at the Aston Islander or the Mokihana (now Iso) so this was a first renting a stand alone house. It had everything. All the kitchen tools and appliances you could want, lot's of options for sleeping, super comfortable beds and bedding. I loved having a washer/dryer it was a game changer. We arranged the sitting chairs to be in front of the lanai and drank our coffees watching the ocean (indoors or outdoors). The ocean is RIGHT THERE. Lot's of air flow with the windows open and there were two fans I could use to cool off if it got too warm. The shower head was luxurious. It's very out of the way and we enjoyed evening walks down to the end of the road looking at all the plants and animals. The location was perfect for accessing all the parts of the island, north and south shores. And Kapa'a is just down the highway with all the restaurants and shopping. We did a lot of take out from Kilauea and swimming at Moloa'a. I have nothing negative to report. Only that I hope to return someday! The lines to rent a car are quite long- expect to spend about 2 hours in line so bring snacks!

First, the host is amazing. Kind, communicative and helpful. The house is definitely dated but in good condition overall. No AC is not great but because there are so many windows and it’s by the water we got plenty of wind coming through the house. It was nice to have a cooler to use and towels for the beach and the washer and dryer was much appreciated. The outside shower was really nice to have….until we can home one day and noticed someone had defecated in the shower!!! The host was appalled and took care of it right away. Points lost due to the lack of safety we felt in the area. We were told there was a large homeless population and maybe that’s where the poo came from??? We had to make sure all of our things were inside every night and every time we left the property. We were told of other crime in the area as well from locals at a shop nearby. We loved having anahola beach right down the road; so nice! And make sure you try Onos char burger close by too:)

View! Secluded! Sunrise! We loved our stay at this cute two bedroom cottage. It was as if we had the whole area to ourselves. The bed was comfortable. The home was fully stocked. Al was quick to answer any questions that we had. We love the outdoor shower so we can rinse off after snorkeling. We got to see the monk seal come up on the beach and rest. Something a lot of people probably don’t think about that. The man was absolutely gorgeous from the lanai at night. Very highly recommend staying here. Only suggestion would be maybe AC in the bedroom for at night. Other than that, it was perfect.

Amazing

This property is exactly as listed. Even first impression walking through the door looking right out the sliding glass door is "WOW". Literally right on the water, amazing views, cool breeze and quiet. We went for our honeymoon and although not "fancy", it felt like home. We spent alot of time on the covered lanai. From morning coffee to evening drinks. House is stocked with everything you need and more. Absolutely staying here again when we come back.

Family get away to the beach

First time to Kauai and not only are we planning our return to the island, we plan to stay here again! Fantastic location for anyone looking for some quiet beach mornings, snorkeling, or playing in the sand. Conveniently located to Kapa’a for shopping and dining. We loved it.

Quaint and comfortable oceanfront bungalow

Our four day stay here was wonderful! Super quiet little neighborhood, oceanfront, with perfect sunrise views on the lanai. Perfect place to start our 2 week Hawaiian vacation. It is an older beach home, no frills, nothing fancy, but very well taken care of and loved, and we felt like we had taken a leap back in time (in a good way). The ocean breeze through the windows was spectacular! It is centrally located on the east side of the island, so easy drive to Princeville and Hanalei Bay or to Kapa'a and Lihue. We made several day trips and found it perfectly located. House had everything we needed, real (fluffly) bath towels unlike hotels, and a box of Kleenex in every room - I literally felt like I was at home! Perfect bungalow for a couple or family of 4 wanting to be away from the fancy resort hotels. Highly recommend!

Best porch in the world!
