"The property is located right across from Hawks Nest State Park. The neighborhood is quiet. You can sit on the front porch or out back on the patio or up by the fire pit. We saw deer, birds and heard a fox at night. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Great drawer and closet space too! The owner responded almost immediately to any questions we had. The only suggestion would be not to list it as on a river. The river is across the street in the state park. A special shout out for Brenda, the manager of the Hawks Nest Gift Shop a few minutes down the road. She was sweet to our dog and very nice to us. The shop has wonderful souvenirs to take back home for family and friends, and yourself too! "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Adventures on the Gorge. The resort had everything you needed a nice store, multiple food/bar options, a pool with a great view and easy access for outdoor activities. The whole resort was very clean and well taken care of. The Kaymoor Cabins were very clean and comfortable, I was happy with my decision to stay here even though I did not participate in any outdoor excursions."

"The bed was so comfortable. I actually slept instead of watching TV all night. The employees were all so very helpful (I am disabled). This is the first hotel I have stayed at where the walk in shower didn't cause the whole floor to be wet. All in all, an exceptional hotel."

"What a place! We had an amazing time! It was so comfortable, fun and spacious! It was so clean and organized. The views were spectacular!"

"The cabin is lovely and well stocked. They’ve thought of everything. It was a cozy option near several tourist attractions and drivable (1 hour) to even more. It is a quiet location with two cabins. Nice hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor porch areas too. We enjoyed the on property trail and nearby hikes like the Endless Wall and Gorge. Our cell hotspot worked nicely and we enjoyed the large movie collection too. We highly recommend this spot, if you’re looking for a getaway that is within a quick drive of the Gorge and you want to avoid the crowds. We liked the seclusion and peace. "
