“We stayed at the sure stay 4 nights while we explored the New River Gorge and Monongahela forest. Location was about 30 mins or so from the gorge, but a lot of close by state parks and beautiful scenery to access easily. Hotel is right by the beautiful Summersville lake as well. Hotel is small, quaint. A little outdated on the outside. But the rooms were nice and clean. We stayed in the king size bed room and bed was super comfy and offered a good night's sleep. Shower was good. Breakfast……

“The pool was closed on June 19th. Requested 2 rooms side by side. 1 room infested with tiny ants. It took over an hour to get another room. It was the entire length of the motel from the 2nd room. At 8:00 am the lady started clearing breakfast and the coffee was empty.. Not a good experience.”

“Hot water dribbled through spigot, musty/moldy odor downstairs, carpet not vacuumed thoroughly in my room, was not told of WiFi password on my card case, room doors very loud when closing, did not see handicapped spots, breakfast buffet subpar, no fresh fruit I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!”

“The tranquil setting in the woods is perfect for a New River getaway. The screened in porch with hot tub was a real bonus. Fire pit, outdoor grill and kitchen made for a great stay. The location - close to the bridge and visitor center - was super convenient.”
