Staff was very friendly. The hotel is dated and shows wear and tear. The beds were clean but the carpet is very old and worn. Bathroom was also dated and shower didn’t work very well.

Property was ok. Lot of noise from other rooms and hallway, at night. Sounded like a fight going on. I did let the desk clerk know of the sleep disturbances.

Location was perfect. I just had to put the leash on my dog and walk across the street to Hawks Nest S.P. Good local restaurants, New River Gorge N.P. and Babcock S.P. are a short drive away. The house is clean and stocked, including some thoughtful extras I didn’t expect.
