“A charming property, clean and with everything we needed. Julie gave us a warm welcome welcoming and was very helpful, making suggestions and recommendations for our stay. It’s a peaceful location, only a short walk from the canal - perfect for a stroll to Chichester, where the cathedral and gardens are well worth seeing. West Wittering beach is nearby too.”

“Flint Cottage ist eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet, Ed und Tess haben sogar im Kühlschrank lebenswichtige Dinge wie Milch, Butter usw. gelagert. Die Kommunikation war problemlos. Da wir zu fünft waren, war es etwas eng für uns, trotzdem fanden wir alle die Flint Cottage sehr gemütlich. Highlight war das Bad im „Schrank“. ”

“Everyone has their own view on what makes a holiday, for me and my family it was this property. A beautifully decorated and appointed 3-bedroom bungalow in a cul-de-sac location, 10 minute walk to the shops and takeaways, 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the most amazing pubs and restaurants. But sitting in the back garden on the huge outdoor furniture or double egg-chair, or just inside the living area with the "glass wall" open you are totally secluded and in a sunny world of your……

“We were expecting to stay in a 1 bedroom cottage not a room There was no kitchen just a cupboard with a sink and a microwave so no room to be able to cook There was no bed as such just a futon because the room was so small we had to put it together and collapse it every day I was glad to come home”

“Although we enjoyed our stay at the Dairy it should not be advertised as 4 guests in one bedroom there is only one double bed and this was disappointing. The traffic was very noisy and the road was too dangerous for walking. ”

“Exactly as described. A lovely English cottage in rural surroundings, but close to all the amenities of Hurstpierpoint and a short drive from Brighton. Comfortable living and dining rooms, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Loved the crisp white linen sheets, the huge bath towels and the nice hot showers. Toys and books for our 4 year old grandson, lovely artwork on the walls, we felt totally at home and loved staying here. We felt as though the hosts really cared about us and hadn’t skimped……

“We spent a lovely few days at Lychgate Cottage. We did find it a bit difficult to locate the property once in the village and didn’t have a telephone number to contact the owners or Vrbo. The cottage was very cosy and equipped with everything we could want and more. We were supplied with lots of essentials on arrival (ie tea, coffee, bread , milk etc) and more. Anthony and Marilyn welcomed us on arrival and Marilyn showed us around the cottage. Henfield is a small village only about 5 minutes……

“Very clean, well presented and smartly decorated property. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great! The kitchen was well equipped and the garden was well kept with comfortable furniture. Good location for local grocery shopping and only 15 minutes walk to the town centre and seafront. We had a really enjoyable week at the cottage in Worthing.”
