“It was a blessing to stay for one night, and experience the personalised hospitality and generosity of spirit we encountered. The Beach House was on our ‘wish list’ and it was available - serendipitously. We noted and relished attentive interior decor, effective functionality that has been designed clearly from a guest’s perspective, and scrumptious food and refreshments. Familiar with West Wittering and neighbouring villages, the location was spot on for all we enjoy. We will endeavour to book……

“linden house was beautiful, it was just a short walk or 7min drive to the sandiest beach in West Wittering, the hosts were very welcoming and helpful thank you Lulu and Russell and they even have a Hot tub, it was so nice to watch the horses on the back of the house on a morning with a coffee and the little book with all the local places to eat were a lovely touch, I recommend the Boulevard, it is a family run restaurant and it did a lovely burger and Sunday roast. Cannot recommend enough”

“We had a gorgeous stay at the Art House, beautiful garden and view over the church! The room was clean and spacious with gorgeous details. Would definitely come and stay! Hosts were so friendly and lovely :)”

“We arrived at 6:30pm and were told there was not a room for us. The staff were unable to help and unwilling to provide more information on who owns the hotel. I strongly suspect the hotel does not comply with heath and safety rules. We received a refund from Expedia, but I would not have any confidence in receiving a refund directly from the hotel. Stay away.”

“Close to centre”

“The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service”

“If you are looking for something a bit different for a special stay this place ticks all the boxes. A very peaceful location. The Old Station and carriages are maintained to a very high standard. The staff were very responsive to any requests. We had a lovely breakfast sitting under sun shades on the platform, as the weather was very warm. The carriages were cool despite it being 36° as shutters could be closed over the windows. Very comfortable bed.”
