Cute and clean
This property was as it was pictured on the site. The kitchen is well stocked with needed items. I loved the real plants situation around the apartment. The hostess and her daughter were friendly and kind. I felt the area was safe. I was very grateful to have off street parking. :)

perfect getaway spot
This was a great place to stay for a night on the town. We attended a show at the Orange Peel and we were able to walk in about 10 mins. Not only was the location great, the apartment was clean, inviting and comfortable. Our host was responsive, but allowed us the privacy needed. This will definitely be a place we will book on our next trip to Asheville!

Great little apartment a short walk into brewery areas
The apartment was well appointed and had everything that would be needed. Parking was easy on site, and walking down to the south slope brewery area or downtown was easy and convenient.

Great stay, awesome location!!
I do not have one complaint to make about this property!! The location alone is INCREDIBLE. We are from out of state and visited asheville for the first time. This property was so close to everything that we wanted to do! So many good and highly rated breweries, bars, and restaurants in walking distance or very short drive. We did the Biltmore which is also very close. The property is great for 2 people. The kitchen is very large with full size refrigerator and makes the place seem so much bigger. Is nice that the bathroom is set away from the bedroom and also has walk in closet. The owner had great communication and was extremely accommodating. Would easily stay again. Oh yeah- previous people commented on the hill. It wasn’t bad but if it’s warm out you’ll break a sweat. Definitely not a deal breaker and thank you so much for having the motion lights toward the entry!

Great Downtown Hideaway
We loved being walking distance to everything downtown. Prepare to walk up up up the hill, but not far overall! We had a great time going for city jaunts and finding nearby hikes (driving distance less than 15 minutes). We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a long weekend
This property, in an older neighborhood very close to downtown, is exactly like the pictures shown, and is just right for 1-2 people. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The path down to the back door was a little steeper than I expected, but nothing I couldn't handle and I am in my 70's. It is a short walk to the heart of downtown, but is hilly and quite steep, so I do not recommend walking unless you are fit and used to it. It is less than a 5 minute drive to the center of the city. Owners were nice and very responsive to my questions. There were some previous comments about the lack of darkness in the bedroom, but we did not experience that. The shades were dark enough and there was no outside light that stayed on. The outside light is motion-activated. I recommend this place and would gladly stay there again.

Offers off street parking and plenty of privacy entering the suite. The owner provided information on the Asheville area as well as contact info if we needed assistance with any issues during our stay. The apartment is located in an older neighborhood but is a very convenient location. We had a great experience despite the weather and will definitely revisit.

This property is located in the South Slope area of Asheville, making a short walk to breweries and restaurants. Downtown is walkable, but we chose to drive and park in a garage. Biltmore is a short <10 minute drive as is the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Easy stay near south slope
The unit is an in-law suite on the basement level of this family's home. It was very clean, tidy, and well decorated. The location is a bit noisy being close to a main road, so light sleepers may need eye masks and ear plugs, however a sound machine is provided. Some tea and coffee is provided which was a nice touch. The unit is walkable from downtown and south slope making it a great base camp for exploring Asheville. We did have some miscommunication with the owners regarding a schedule change, but it was finally resolved on the last day of our stay after providing evidence of the requested change. It was also a good reminder that VRBO will not mediate between owner and guest if there is a problem, so please read the booking details carefully before selecting a place.

Spacious, comfortable apartment in older neighborhood
The apartment is very clean, spacious in all rooms, including the bathroom. The kitchen has what is necessary for easy meals, particularly breakfast. The bed is comfortable; there is a dresser to put clothes in, and 2 bedside tables with lights. The apartment is well appointed without being cluttered. I am in the habit of bringing night lights when I travel and was glad I had 2 to light the way to the bathroom in the night! Lisa and Stephen were very quick to respond to questions. The apartment iss easily accessible with a well-lighted pathway but might be challenging for anyone with a mobility issue. We also found the apartment within easy walking distance to local brew pubs and restaurants and were not disappointed!

This is a nice little in law suite apartment very near downtown - everything was as it was in pics. There were some issues with the cleaner not having shown up when we arrived, but the host was extremely responsive and refunded part of our trip in response. This was a minor issue and the rental was convenient, comfortable, and lovely. I’d recommend a stay there!

Cute Spot, Great Location!
My fiancé and I loved staying here during our long weekend vacation in Asheville. We both love our breweries, so this location proved to be PERFECT, with many great spots within walking distance (10-15 minutes). The off-street parking is great, it’s in a quiet neighborhood, and the apartment itself provides everything you need: a pretty comfortable bed, spacious kitchen, and fully-furnished bathroom. The bed creaks a lot, but other than that, no complaints at all, especially for the price. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Well appointed apartment close to downtown
Great little private suite within easy walking distance of downtown. Very clean and easy to access with off street parking which was appreciated. Only thing to note is that it is cooled by a small window AC unit in the bedroom that is very effective but if you don’t like air blowing directly on you as you sleep it can be a problem.
