"This is a perfect lake house for a small family to enjoy. The open living area / kitchen made for pleasant vibes. The decor was updated and inviting. The rooms were stocked with all necessities and more. Kitchenware and appliances were newer. Great stay! "

"Wow! The owner thought of everything! If you have rented VRBO before, you know the stress that comes with making sure you have everything packed or purchased that you need just to cook a meal. The kitchen has every tool, pan, pot, mug, cup, etc. The fridge has every condiment you could desire. Coffee is a MUST for us…no worries, owner has you covered with offering two different kinds of coffee pots / machines. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. The beds were super comfy, especially the primary bedroom which proved to us how outdated our mattress at home truly is. We enjoyed the hot tub with Bluetooth speaker for music. We enjoyed watching a movie together on a quiet night. There are so many things to love about this home. We are considering a trip back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor space and lake. "We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Boat House! We were celebrating a 40th birthday party, and 10 adult women fit/ate/slept VERY comfortably! The beds were great, kitchen was nicely stocked (crock pot, hand mixer, milk frother, Keurig and traditional coffee maker, the list goes on!). There are 2 fridge/freezers in the garage, so we didn’t need coolers for drinks. Can’t say enough good things about the place—so thoughtfully done with great closet space, nooks to do puzzles/play games/drink coffee…it was all beautiful and really comfy! Stacks of towels—we had enough for 10 women. The garage was awesome for ping pong/arcade games/dance parties/separation for peeps that wanna be more loud/and for our visit: a place to hide from the rain while still getting some fresh air.The area is nice, with surprisingly good food within walking distance! DON’T sleep on Beachside Tavern!! Breakfast was so good, we had the chef (who just won a competition for her tortilla soup!) come out so we could compliment her! Many at the table said the biscuits & gravy were the best they’ve ever had. Bass Lake Pub had excellent pizza (but comically small shots). We enjoyed taking the golf cart on a loop around the lake (20 min). Too late in the season for the pontoon (bummer!) but the access to kayaks and paddle boards was nice.I’m sure I’m missing out on many more nice things to say about the Boathouse, but basically: don’t hesitate to book. Can’t wait to rebook!"

"All the comforts of home and then some. The house is well -equipped, comfortable and has a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick snack or full meal. The coffee bar gets an A - a unique and welcome rental addition. The porch, fire pit, lake dock and golf cart were hits with everyone. Can’t ask for a better rental!"

"One word Outstanding! To elaborate...If this is a place where you can create a home away from home. Too make memories for a lifetime! First time my wife and I had ever tried this other than our own house. Which is like 30 minutes away. We had kids and grandkids coming from out of state like many. We liked when it said this wasn't a party house. The reason becomes apparent as soon as you walk in the door. It's a Family House in a family neighborhood, (Perfect)! The View! The amenities! THE BEACH! Private and perfect for our little ones getting acquainted with water for first time! Its sandy! Its shallow! It's clear! Short of writing a Novel about how much we liked this place! We're booking it again for a repeat and to improve on our own family model! If you can't tell by now; we highly recommend it! The hosts are more than gracious! I GOD BLESS and we hope every family has the opportunity to experience what ours did! "
