The Orchard House & Cafe

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (144)
"Orchard House was very calm, relaxing, clean, and cozy; however, I would not consider it a typical bed and breakfast in a sense that there isn’t a home-cooked breakfast in the morning. They do provide granola and boiled eggs and a very small table with four seat seats, but it’s clear that most people including us go out to eat breakfast which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as there is plenty to do in the area just not what I’m typically used to. "We loved this place. Beautiful new rooms with full fridge/freezer and k-cup coffee machine. Porch all around the building was so nice to have to breakfast and take-out dinner. The breakfast at this b&b were fantastic. You have a choice of three things the night before and they deliver to your room in the morning. We ate on the porch overlooking the harbor. 2 minute walk to town and shops and restaurants. No car needed once you’re there. Loved it. mark who took care of us was fantastic!"

"Donna was a wonderful hostess. She greeted us warmly and really wanted to know a bit about us and what brought us to Boothbay Harbor (an anniversary celebration). Her orientation to our accommodations and the town was very helpful. We stayed in “solitude “, a lovely, separate cottage behind the main house that was perfect for us. We will definitely return to Atlantic Ark in the future. "
