"The Chic Chalet felt very comfortable and homey.Plenty of trees, shade and mountain air. It has a very comfortable hammock, gas bbq and plenty of outdoor seating. The hot tub had really cool color changing lights and was a very relaxing way to complete the day.The interior was very clean, has a cute kitchen, decorated well and PLENTY of beds. It has 2 sets of french doors leading out to the deck, allowing for a nice autumn breeze.The area was very quiet. We were able to take our dogs on a walk in the mountain neighborhood. We did however see a black bear on our last night when taking the dogs on a walk just before sun set. We advise on avoiding walking in the pine needles especially with dogs due to a lot of sap on the ground.We ventured out during the day and walked all the shops in Murphys. It was a very cute little old town. We discovered a small park in Murphys that had a small shallow river running right thru it. We were able to wade into it and our dogs really enjoyed splashing around in it also. We would definitely stay there again."

"The cabin was very clean and perfect for our group. The kids loved the downstairs room with the ping pong table, while the adults enjoyed hanging out on the upstairs deck. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and the beds were comfortable. The view from the deck was beautiful, and hearing the river below made the stay even more relaxing. There was plenty of parking, and the cabin had a cozy feel that made us feel right at home. Dennis was quick to respond whenever we had a question, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back!"
