The Bear Cabin: 5min walk to village & 12 SHARC passes

This spacious home can easily accommodate a large family or group of up to 14 friends or family, who can enjoy all that sunny Central Oregon's premier resort has on offer. The family dog can join the fun as well, as this home is dog-friendly (2 dogs max., under 50lbs each).

Start your day by relaxing on the main deck (one of three) located on the side of the house, cup of freshly brewed coffee in hand. When you start to get hungry, the well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances, lots of cabinets and counter space, and all the gadgets you need to whip up a feast, including two electric griddles for those homemade pancakes in the morning.

Eat together at the adjacent table for ten, or step back out onto the deck, which features two picnic tables for alfresco dining. After breakfast, gather the crew to begin exploring.

Your home comes with 12 SHARC passes, giving you access to tons of shared amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, tennis, basketball and more, and you’re an easy walk on the bike trail to the SHARC Aquatic Center.

The resort has also has two 18-hole golf courses (club membership required), plus miles of bike trails throughout the resort property. Your home also comes with ten bikes (seven adult; three for kids) if you want to explore on two wheels, but guests should bring their own helmets.

Mt. Bachelor is just 20 miles away and offers great skiing and snowboarding in the winter and exciting mountain biking in the summer. For a day trip, head to Bend for some great local boutiques and fun restaurants for the entire family to enjoy.

After a day of exploring, return home and enjoy your lovely outdoor space. Relax on the main deck and fire up the gas grill for dinner. The deck between the garage and front door is completely enclosed for little ones, and the private hot tub to soak in while watching the sunset.

Back inside, get that gorgeous wood-burning fireplace crackling (wood is provided) and snuggle up together in front of the TV while you stream your favorite shows and movies, or play a game of foosball. At bedtime, you've got six comfortable choices: five of the bedrooms are on the main floor; four feature pine-log queen-size beds, and the fifth has a set of pine-log twin beds. The upstairs bedroom has two sets of metal bunk beds, with three singles and one double. Note that upper bunks have a 100-pound weight limit. The upper bedroom has a private bathroom and a balcony.
Modern bathrooms downstairs equipped with warm seat/warm water bidets and stunning showers provide a luxurious experience.

No matter how you spent the day, end the night by stepping back out on the main deck and toasting your good luck at booking the perfect Sunriver property.

The place was a perfect size for our family reunion for 14 of us. We used the Sharc passes twice and we walked to the village which was fun. The fans and extra fridge really helped too! The kids had fun with fooseball and ping pong- we’d come back for sure

Great for multi-family get together!

Our extended family gathered here for a week, eight adults and six kids in all. It was an easy walk to both the SHARC and the village and backed right up to the network of pathways. The house had a good selection of bed sizes and we appreciated the two living rooms on either side of the kitchen so that the spaces could be separated if kids needed to go to bed earlier. Having bikes there for use was also convenient. We would definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful property with a great lay out. Two of the bedrooms are at a completely different area of the home. Great for parents with infants to 3 years old. Also a great surprise was the home has two refrigerators! It really helped our family of 6 adults and 4 under 7 years of age. Great bike riding for adults and teens. Kitchen has everything you’ll need. Location is very close to the SHARC facilities. Would stay in this home again.

This was a very well-appointed house in central Sunriver community. The amenities were great, and the number of rooms was exactly what was needed for or group. We were a little disappointed that there was no AC and that the grill was dirty and low on propane. We had planned a BBQ but had to forego. Was also disappointed that the drawers in the bedrooms were dirty and not ready to hold our clothing. Instead, we lived out of suitcases. The little disappointments aside we had a great time at the Bear cabin.
