best thing about Big Pine is being close to Bishop with slightly lower motel prices






A bare bones motel. I'll deal with the minor complaints for the cheap price: some lights flickered and had to be turned off. Only one restaurant open nearby. No major complaints.

Manager/owner was a delight. So pleasant and room is adorable. Was even invited back later that night for a cup of chai tea and chat!

This was the best communication with a host that I’ve ever had. She made it so easy to know where to park, how to get in, etc. The place was clean and bright and the beds were comfortable. Keep the Liberals out. They’ll ruin it. Nice seeing lots of American flags and Jeeps.
My mother and wife’s mother were both school teachers in Bip Pine many years ago. It was fun to go back and visit. The place hasn’t changed much since we moved in the 1970’s.
