Eagles Nest on Red Cedar is a relaxing lakefront vacation rental at Tagalong Resort. This efficiency condo features modern amenities, a pool, hot tub and fitness center, onsite bar and restaurant and golf course. You can spend the day soaking up the Wisconsin sunshine on Red Cedar Lake or if you prefer to enjoy the beautiful Wisconsin Northwoods by land, bring your UTV or ATV and enjoy the trails. Birchwood is located 25 minutes north of Rice Lake; 30 minutes east of Spooner, and 35 minutes south of Hayward. There is something to do in the Birchwood, WI area year round, from fishing on the Red Cedar Chain of Lakes,(Red Cedar, Balsam, Hemlock) and various other area lakes, boating, hiking the Ice Age Trail, biking, golfing at Tagalong Golf Course (a Scottish Style 18-hole course), snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or checking out the specialty shops in the area, NOTE: This condo can be rented along with 431A (listed seperately) to accomodate a larger group.

restful stay
My husband and I celebrated our 38 wedding anniversary at Tagalong golf resort. We enjoyed the view, wildlife, pool and hot tub. sitting on the balcony with perfect view of the night sky. We were a bit confused about the check in process. We misread the directions, and went to the wrong building initally, but figured it out after starting from the beginning again.

What a great room! Reservation and checkin super easy. Room was as advertised - and more! It was the little things - having the coffee packets with sugar, creamer & stir sticks. Having fork/knife/spoon packets with napkins and salt and pepper. Paper plates. Thick bath towels. A hair dryer that was powerful. We were so pleased and definitely recommend staying here. View of lake was also great - we stayed in January so weren’t able to use the deck though - we need to come back for a summer stay!

This property offered my partner and I a clean and spacious place to land after exploring the towns and breweries in the area. The view from the deck is gorgeous, the property is well maintained, there is an elevator very nearby, the bathroom is large and clean, there were many towels and amenities within the condo. The pool, hot tub, and bar by the water also were clean, quiet and the perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Would come back again!

If VRBO writes a book on how to communicate and set up the little things for success and happy clients, Lynn Ann and Lakin' are the Poster Child. I don't know a better phrase than 'Above and Beyond', but that's what they did and more. What a great booking experience and thanks to our hosts, made for a very special birthday for my wife. Nice condo with lake view
This is a very nice unit with all the necessary amenities. We had great communication with the owners, this unit has a very large bath, small patio on the deck overlooking the water. Nice Tiki bar with live music on the weekends with a great bartender.

Absolutely loved this property!! We’re definitely not golfers, but this property is located right on the lake. We fished a lot. I really enjoyed the hot tub on the property! The view is stunning. Everything was clean when we arrived. There was plenty of coffee, towels, toiletries, cups and plates stocked for our stay. The property manager was quick to reply when I sent a text message regarding renting extra nights. My only complaint is that I didn’t see an ice machine anywhere. That would have been very helpful, but not the fault of this particular owner. We definitely plan to go back to Red Cedar Lake and this property will be first on our list! A+. 5 stars!

Great simple spot
My brother and I were looking for last minute Birkie lodging and this covered it nearly perfectly. In the micro kitchen we were hoping for basic utensils since there was a microwave and fridge. Other than that, it was a great stay and we'd come back in the summer!
