“If I could have rated higher I would have! Admittedly, a picky traveler, this may be the cleanest and "it is what it looks like" place I have had the pleasure of staying in. Every detail was so well thought out from the welcoming snacks and water upon arrival to the clear directions for the hot tub and sauna (we used both). “This cabin was amazing!! It had ample space for my family of 4, plus my parents, and my brother. The pool table, game system, hot tub, huge deck space, fire pit, porch swings, Mountain View’s from inside and outside, comfort of the beds, and accessibility to nearby hiking trails were all amazing. The only thing I’d make sure to bring is cleaning spray like Meyers or something. Everything else like paper towels, sponge, and soap were provided. I’d always pack extra paper towels if it were me....

“This was the perfect little cottage for me and my handsome man to spend our one year anniversary. The only thing I was suggest is maybe putting a cover over the hot tub so if it’s raining, we could still enjoy it.”

The kitchen was very well stocked with all the essentials and there was plenty of storage throughout the house. “we really enjoyed our stay. The place was very spacious and well kept. The kitchen was well supplied; but, the ice machine in the fridge didn't work and we have a hard time trying to figure out how to turn the oven on. Thankfully, we found the oven manuel. A detailed list of how to turn the oven on would be wonderful addition next to the oven. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.”

“This property was as advertised. It was comfortable, cozy, and well kept. The property owners were so helpful and thorough with the information necessary for the stay. I would stay there again and again. If there was one thing I would change, it would be adding a tv to the bedroom(s). Although that is not everyone’s cup of tea, it at least gives those who prefer a tv in the bedroom the opportunity to enjoy that option. Nevertheless, this property still receives a whopping 5/5! “We had 8 adults for a family get together. House was great but a little tight in the sitting areas for 8 people. Great for 6 people. Downstairs was great space for the younger set along with the hot tub. Decor was great and very comfortable bed rooms. Bed 7 & 8 are bunk beds. I would definitely recommend the home for a easy getaway mountain escape. Easy access to Blue Ridge and McKaysville.”
