Birdsong, Blue Ridge Retreat. Tranquila cabaña en el río. A 10 km de Blue Ridge

Bellamente decorado tranquilo, admite mascotas, escapada a la montaña. Ver y escuchar el río desde el porche de dormir filtrada entre las copas de los árboles. Gran habitación con techo y chimenea. Cocina completa con comedor para 6-8 y segunda chimenea se abre al porche filtrada.

Maestro con cama King y puerta francesa a la cubierta trasera características recién renovado baño privado personalizado. Habitación con cama de matrimonio se abre al porche filtrada. Loft con dos camas individuales y baño privado recién decorado. Sofá en gran salón y cama doble en porche. Cocina totalmente equipada y nueva parrilla de gas.

Configuración privada a menos de 6 millas del centro de Blue Ridge. A sólo unos minutos de Orchard Mercier. La carretera y la cabina son fácilmente accesibles con vehículos de dos ruedas motrices. Puerta de entrada eléctrica codificada para mayor seguridad.

Fightingtown Creek fluye a través de la propiedad. La cabaña se sienta encaramada sobre el arroyo y usted oye el canto de los rapids a través de la noche. El arroyo se accede por la carretera que te lleva a la cabaña y está a unos 100 yardas a pie por la colina. La orilla del arroyo es empinada y puede ser demasiado grande en lugares, pero muchos visitantes aventureros de acceso para vadear y la pesca de truchas.

Convenient but secluded
Very cozy cabin tucked in the woods. Very eclectic, homey feel. Owners communicate well. Cabin has everything you need. The back porch is amazing and peaceful, with the sound of the creek below.

Pictures don’t do justice
This property is gorgeous. The owner’s have put so many neat touches around the entire property. The house is well stocked with games, books, linens, trash bags, etc. If we couldn’t find something in the kitchen, tye laundry room had it. It was nice to have 2 refrigerators as well! Communication with the owner was a breeze. We wish that there was an easier access to the creek, but that’s nothing the owners have control over :). We basically lived on the screened in porch with Day bed. The property was in a great location, & quiet. Hope to come back soon!

Nice Cabin
The inside of the cabin was clean and nice, however, the outside around the deck and needs some work. The location is good, however, there are no views of the mountains. There is a little creek/river within a short walking distance but there is no way to access it as there are cabins and private property along the banks. However, we did enjoy our stay as it was relaxing and that's what we were looking for.

Beautiful location, conveniently located just a few minutes from Blue Ridge and McCaysville, Ga. The interior is clean and works well. The screened back porch is very nice over looking the trees and Creek— beautiful and quiet for reading! The surrounding deck is in need of replacement.

Christmas Wish Come True
Property was close to town but felt secluded. The setting was gorgeous and the cabin was cozy. The decor was intriguing. Lots of antiques and ephemoria. We had scavenger hunts and a photo contest of the most interesting items. The town was charming. We made lots of memories and highly recommend this property.

Birdsong was perfect! Close to town so easy car ride to Blue Ridge shops and Restaurants and Mercier Orchard. Cozy cabin was perfect for staying in and playing games. Plenty of room, yet not so big that you don't visit with your family and friends.

Birdsong Vacation
Overall, we enjoyed the time with our daughter and her family. The cabin is in a good location and not far from Blue Ridge. The cabin itself had plenty of room for six people. We did note a few things that could use some attention: 1. The shower off the master bedroom had not been cleaned. 2. The bed in the master bedroom was very soft and sagged in the middle. 3. The couch and two armchairs in the great room we not comfortable - the cushions or their support were broken down. 4. There are five exterior spotlights - four on the back patio and one aimed toward the fire pit area. None of these lights worked. I changed the four on the back patio, but the one for the fire pit appeared to be solar and was not accessible. There are also several solar post lights on the railing around the cabin. All of these lights were full of water and non-operational. 5. The decking on where the grill is located was covered with bird droppings. Please don't let these few things that I noted steer you away from this property - these are easy fixes. I liked that the decking went all the way around the house from the front door to the door off the master bedroom. This cabin is in a great location just above the river - you can hear the water flowing. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. Dave.

Sweet Property
This property was very sweet. I love all of the nostalgia peppered throughout and the coziness of the home. I wish there were a few more outdoor lights because it definitely gets dark there, but otherwise, my husband and I really enjoyed our time at this property and hope to get back someday soon!

This property was homey and comfortable. It was close and convenient to everything, i.e., stores, other Blue Ridge sites; just be prepared for the narrowness of the roads when accessing/leaving the cabin. However, the host does give a great description of the best way to access and leave the cabin to ease the comfort of driving. We would definitely consider visiting again.

We planned a family trip for the Fourth of July and had a wonderful time. The house is even better than the pictures, and they looked amazing to begin with. Sitting on the back porch and listening to the river down below makes the world go away for a little while. You can also go down and fish in the river. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Great place and location
We stayed here for a family vacation in the mountains. The house is in a quiet area. Some other houses are near by but you can’t see them in the summer. Small creek at the bottom of the hill provides the perfect background noise on the back porch. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is near Blue Ridge, a great small town for eating and shopping. Other great locations are an hour or less away.
