“My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

“We really enjoyed staying in this cozy house in the woods. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking or kayaking the Shenandoah. We had a campfire and used the hottub daily. Plenty of room for each of us to have our own space, but cozy enough for gamenights, too! ”

“This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. ”

“We really enjoyed this home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of towels left for us. We especially loved the screened in porch which also had plenty of seating for family time. The home is not only beautiful inside but also on the outside with nice landscape and attention to detail. The owner was very accommodating and had great communication. We will definitely stay here again while visiting family, ”

“The house was clean and the host answered message right away. There are a couple things people should know. Artifical scented plug ins were in the house. This was a problem until I found and unplugged them. I can't be around those types of scents as it causes migraine type headaches. The front yard is overgrown weeds. At first glance I was disappointed at the sight but it was just along the road. The house was nice. We didnt use the hot tub due to weather.”

“The house was fantastic. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking meals. Loved the oven and refrigerator. Everything was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Bonus that each bedroom had their own bathroom.My family enjoyed the media room at night to watch movies. The big tv was wonderful. The hot tub was clean.
