“For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away.”

“The property itself and the host and hostess were fabulous. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. It was walkable into Alnwick. The only problem is the back path from the house into Alnwick is rough and very uneven and is not lit. I have mobility issues and we made it both nights without any issues however I would have liked an easier walk. ”

“We had a fabulous time at the Bridges B&B. Lesley was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful we immediately felt it was home from home. The interior was like a boutique hotel, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished. It was very comfortable, Steve and Lesley had thought of everything. The breakfasts were also excellent, Lesley went the extra mile to ensure I had something suitable for IBS. She really was so thoughtful and we really appreciated it.”

“Value is OK, but the kitchen was always dirty, kitchen foor look like we're never clean. Always dirty dishes, dirty pots, dirty glasses, etc. Room was comfortable, bit put together with old furniture. For the cost, I guess is OK, but a little scrubbing goes a long way specially the kitchen. Or just keep kitchen out of the offering.”
