This hotel was the nastiest hotel we’ve ever seen. It was so bad we left within 15 mins and booked another hotel up the road. The check in experience was ok, but the man behind the counter wasn’t wearing anything but casual clothes, so that was our first red flag. They also didn’t have any food or drinks at the front desk aside from 2 bulging cans of coke and a few bottles of water for cash only, which we didn’t have. When we got to our room, we opened the door and were instantly hit with a musty smell and heavy humidity/moisture. The room had cobwebs in multiple corners, and stains on the floor and window curtains. There was even rust, dust and stains on the light fixtures. There were not toiletries in the bathroom and part of the bottom dresser was damaged. We had 3 kids with us, one being a baby so all of this made us feel very uneasy. The musty smell and potential mold being a big factor for me. I felt so gross in the room. We all got into the beds to try and sleep but the humidity in the room was so high that the bedding all felt damp and wet. We thought maybe it was just that room so we requested another room. The next room was just the same. It was at that point we realized this hotel needed serious help and we weren't risking it. So we packed up and booked another hotel down the road. We wish we took photos, but we were so taken aback we honestly forgot. We just wanted to get out of there. Never again. We also tried to get our money back and they denied it. 0/10.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The lawns are groomed and the flowers are unbelievable. The staff were wonderful. Office recommended an excellent restaurant and even gave us a coupon to use. The office had coffee, lemonade, and cookies. Breakfast was great. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Great pool. Location is right next to Covenant College and literally across the street from a fantastic tourist site .. Rock City. I could keep typing ....
