“We had a good visit- the house was well stocked with towels, blankets, kitchen tools, etc. We never figured out the drip coffee maker, but the keurig filled in and was well stocked. Washer and dryer were also handy. It was great to have a large dining room table we could all eat at comfortably.”

“This was a lovely secluded property that allowed us to take our dog for a few days in the mountains. It was only 10 minutes into downtown Mariposa, and an hour to an hour and a half to Yosemite depending on which entrance you take: Arch Entry 1 hour, South/Mariposa Grove 1 1/2. We loved the secludedness. And appreciated the cleanliness, kitchen amenities (including the Mariposa Coffee which is just down the street for visitors), and updated aspects of the property. “My friends and I weren't able to book two consecutive nights in Yosemite, so we booked a one night stay at this property for our last night on the trip. It was very comfortable, warm, and quiet after a long day of hiking in the rain and cold. It's about an hour drive from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Clean, straightforward check in and check out, and the hosts were communicative, although we didn't require any assistance during our stay.”

“Location is amazing if planning on spending your time at Don Pedro lake it was only a 10 minute commute. The host was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to all questions. A great perk is a dollar general is just down the road for any of those last minute items you may have forgot. The home provided easy access to park with the boat as well. “This is a quiet location in a beautiful area. I would recommend arriving before dark as the roads in are a little difficult to locate in the dark.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage Retreat on the outskirts of Mariposa, CA. The cottage was the perfect size for 4 adults, with plenty of space to spread out, yet cozy enough to enjoy each others company. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great, the kitchen had everything we needed. We had all the conveniences of home and more, with a hot tub under the open sky. We hope to return again!”

“We had a short stay of one night after a day trip to Yosemite. The house was great. There was no cell service (AT&T) but the house Internet was super fast. The nearby town had lots of restaurants.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfectly located on top of a mountain. The drive isn’t bad at all. if you’re into nature and just want some peaceful time away from the city noise, this is the place for you. A nice size pool and a hot tub is a bonus. We watched the sunset and it was absolutely phenomenal. The host is super friendly and attentive. In addition, he gave us useful tips so we can enjoy our stay and be safe. Thank you Chad! “This duplex cabin is just as described and more. There were extra toiletries in case someone forgot them. There was all’s coffee and the needed items to make batches. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Even ice cube trays!”

“I love the fact it was secluded and quiet. You can tell it was fully remodeled recently. They had a very detailed book of things to do in the area and it was only about 15 min out of the main town.”

“We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay in Yosemite. The property is clean and safe surrounding. Nice view. The only thing we didn’t like is when our cars was been pulled and park in the different spot. I believed they have a hiking trail that they want to clear the drive way but there’s an enough place to park and pass even if our cars are park in front of our rental cabin. This is the only thing that I didn’t like that. It’s so inconvenient to walk and get...
