"I’m thankful for the cleanliness of the room—especially since I’m the type of person who walks in and immediately pulls back the covers to check for clean sheets (and no critters). Since I checked in late at night, I also really appreciated that the staff placed me right next to the front office. It eased my nerves and gave me a sense of security while unloading my bags. The water got nice and hot, which was a plus, and the AC vents were clean—the room cooled down well enough to be comfortable. The beds, however, could use an upgrade. They weren’t the most comfortable—still padded enough for a decent night’s sleep, but definitely not luxurious. One thing they could absolutely improve is adding more convenient outlets for phones and other devices. There weren’t any on the nightstand between the beds, which made charging a bit of a hassle. Overall, not a bad place to stop. It’s in a convenient location, especially if you’re heading to the park."

"Beautiful place with minimal road noise. The turkeys visited every morning and the place was dog friendly. The telescope was very cool. There was bbq stuff all ready to go thanks to the host who supplied briquettes, fire starter, lighter, and utensils. We are definitely coming back!!!"

"Well for starters the water being unsafe with PFAS exceeding normal levels put us off, so not a great start. Unless camping indoors and using water bottles to wash your face and brush your teeth is your thing. It’s an old building with matching air conditioning unit ls that have a real setting of too cold with it on or hot without it on. The towels were scratchy and the pillows were small. The only nice thing about this hotel was the kind woman who checked us out of our room. Would never come back. Upset we didn't choose a different hotel. "

"The location is beautiful and offers a true sense of being close to nature. However, keep in mind that the tents do not have private bathrooms, so you’ll need to walk to the shared facilities. Also, the sound insulation is quite thin, so you might hear your neighbors or outside noise during the night."
