"I will speak out of my perspective what could help this vacation spot be even better (we liked it for purpose of rest and staycation). I didn't realize that it was part of , let's say resort, for a lack of better word, but it was really out of that complex anyway, house on the side of route 6, so yes, you can hear lots of trucks passing by from a queen size room which is on that side of the house, facing route 6, but other 2 bedrooms, king size and with 2 double beds, are facing behind the house...

"The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! "Everything was in perfect order as always. The bed is very comfortable and we love sitting outside on the patio out back. I brought my binoculars to watch the night sky and it was beautiful. There's also a very nice walking trail past the backyard which used to be a railroad 150 years ago."
