The Inn At Corolla Light
10/10 Excellent
"We go every year about this time and it's great. Staying here gives you permission to park across the street and have passes to the beach at the community of million $ homes. SWEET. They shared that while the summer was good the fall has been awful.
I blame the Orange Failure in our white house for scaring everyone away!"
“2 Impulsive” Luxury Condo Steps from the beach in the Beach Club at Whalehead
10/10 Excellent
"5 Stars – Perfect Beach Getaway! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house in Whalehead, Currituck! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotlessly clean—you could tell it’s very well cared for.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals so easy and enjoyable. The large King bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh and high quality. It’s hard to overstate how clean and well-maintained the entire house was—it truly felt like a home away from home. The location in Whalehead was ideal: peaceful, family-friendly, and just a short walk to the beach. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or a comfortable base for exploring the Outer Banks, this place is a perfect choice.Highly recommend—we're already planning our next visit!"

"We had a great time. Property was great& in a perfect location. Except for an issue with the WiFi we had no issues! The owner was very responsive to all our inquiries. We would definitely stay here again!"
"We really enjoyed our stay here! It was nice having so much space with all of the family. The kids enjoyed the pool and volleyball area. The house was clean and came with so much to do. Having the golf cart was amazing to drop the beach stuff off and the family. Sherrie was fabulous! We have never had a host to be so informative and communicative. She was very helpful and responded immediately. We highly recommend staying here and we will be staying again!!"
"My husband and I had the best getaway at Carolina Blue! The villa was sparkling clean, decorated beautifully and stocked with everything needed down to a meat thermometer used for our fabulous steaks purchased at Butcher Block & Deli (we didn’t want to screw them up). The king size bed in room #1 was very comfortable. The towels nice and thick! Loved the added extras such as Keurig coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with starter laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dish soap. Northern Lights Bakery is walkable through the parking lot! Great pastries and coffee(if you don’t feel like making it). The outdoor closet housed the beach wagon, which we used every day, 4 beach chairs and a couple of wave boards. FYI The key in the kitchen drawer opens both locks on the outside closet door! The bottom lock sticks. So easy to pack up the wagon and go to the beach! Just a super convenient location! Loved ALL the amenities! Will definitely be back! Also, any questions were answered ASAP! Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"The house was cleaner than most beach houses I have been too and it had a fantastic pool and hot tub. The rrooms were really nice and two had an adjoining bathroom. the owner provided a document that provided everything you would need to know about the house and the area. The beach was just down a dirt road that was only traveled by those on the road and the beach was never really crowded and it was very clean. Not great for finding sea shells or sharks teeth but no rocks or anything but soft sand and even very little sea weed. pretty much only saw some a time or two over the week. The waves were great for boogie boarding. You are on the ouskirts of town so no heavy traffic but close enough to stores and grocery stores only a few miles down the road. Ihave been coming to the outer banks for probably 12 years maybe more and this was the nicest one we stayed at todate. "
