"The service was excellent. The staff recommendations for restaurants were excellent. The room was great with great views and a great spa/hot tub. Loved the breakfast brought to our room. It was very good. The location is very close to Coinbra University. Dining was close. Shopping was reasonably close but coming back was steep uphill, but not a problem for us. I recommend parking at public parking by the River and take an Uber to the hotel. The cost was minimal. Parking by the hotel was limited...

"The hotel room was dated. Floors need to be refurbished. The bed was not very comfortable. I liked that there were 2 bathrooms in the room. I liked the size of the balcony, however the balcony glass was not clear not sure if was becuz of ocean mist or just needed to be cleaned. There was a good ocean view. The shower in the bedroom wet the floor every time you showered. I was not impressed and actually disappointed for a four star hotel. "
