Staff are brilliant. I was there for 2 weeks and they made me feel very welcome and they always asked how my day was etc. the hotel is right in the old quarter and was a perfect base.
The breakfast is in a sister hotel only 2 minutes walk away at my pace . I didn't really eat there much. But it was basic but ok . The room is cleaned every day. 2 bottles of water in the fridge every time. I was happy here.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was great — the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.
The only small downside was that there wasn’t a proper mirror in the room, which would have been very convenient, especially when getting ready.
Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

The staff at Grand Hotel du Lac is wonderful, Extremely helpful and caring. Truly a cut above many of the other hotel I have stayed in. And beyond the high standard of other luxury Vietnamese hotels. The staff at breakfast, the restaurant, and the rooftop bar were going beyond anything to make my stay comfortable. The front desk and support staff were continuously inquisitive whether there was something they could help me with. I will most certainly be back.

Really nice hotel, had some refurbishment going on but the hotel staff were excellent. We were looked after really well . It’s in a great location and walking distance to train street which was about 10mins. Would definitely stay here again

The room was very clean, the staff were all very helpful. The staff spent time to provide the details of hotel facilities and the welcome drink was very relaxing after a long trip. They have variety of dishes served during the breakfast.
