Property was old. Peeling paint, old furniture, dirty woodwork in bathroom. Very noisy location. Difficult to find because the road was unmarked. Sign was very low to the ground.

Good rooms at a good price. Safe place to lay your head. Clean and affordable motel-style rooms near Exit 1 at the border of TN and GA. Friendly service at the front desk. Rooms were clean and remodeled recently - matched the pics on Expedia. Caution: Room 110 had a loose toilet, unbolted and tippy. We notified the staff. Be aware there’s an extra $100 reserve per room that’s returned a few days later if you didn’t damage the room. We could manage the cost so it wasn’t an issue for us, but it would have been too much in our younger poorer years.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the location was convenient as this was a stop enroute to Florida however you do smell the fumes from the nearby freeway and can here the constant flow of traffic. Was also disappointed to learn the continental breakfast was cancelled a year ago even though it was still listed as a feature and played a small part in choosing this hotel over another in the area.

the weatherstripping around door on room 108 should be replaced ASAP. the cost will be offset by lower energy costs for heating and air~conditioning. and it should improve on the impression guests are sleeping on the shoulder of the nearby Interstate highway.

We could barely get our room door from the outside. When it was time for bed we realized the door didn't lock from the inside!! We blocked it with the light weight table and chair on top of the table just to be sure. We did get moved to another room in the morning. The orange "juice" was mostly water and the coffee didn't taste good either.
