"The RV was clean and comfortable with all necessary items(bath,kitchen,linens) provided. There is a large refrigerator, so you can bring your own food (recommended, as it’s 32 miles to the nearest store or restaurant).The steps up into the RV could be an issue for a person with mobility problems as they are steep. Very comfortable bed. This IS an RV, so bathroom odor is noticeable; it's a good idea to bring your own fragrances to combat the smell.
The property this is on is fantastic, exactly what we went to Big Bend for. It is isolated enough for a camping experience but easy enough to travel for other activities. We enjoyed bird watching from the covered porch, as well as a regular parade of foxes, deer, javelinas, and quail ( apologies if I missed anyone 😉.) The stars at night are unbelievable, we went on the dark of the moon. There is good water, use it sparingly as this is the desert.
The hosts are wonderful people, they encouraged us to treat this as our home. We very much enjoyed sitting on the porch and hearing stories of the area.
Ask the host before visiting about excursions they provide, we missed the opportunity but plan to next time."
