Very lovely suites. Well suited for a couple or small family for a weekend trip. Very clean and well kept with some thoughtful touches in the bathroom and little kitchenette area. Close enough to Helen and other activities. Highly recommend Sweetwater Coffee and Harvest Habersham for dinner close by.
Communication was great and timely. Location is close to lots of
attractions and wineries. Room was very nicely decorated and clean. Back patio was nice, would have the back yard landscaped a little bit more, but not an issue really.
Very nice room with very good amenities. Charming western theme with a lot of really cool decorations. Close to several areas to eat, shop, and explore. I would definitely recommend this property for couples looking for something away from Helen, GA. It is only about 8-10 minutes to get to downtown Helen.
Loved the customized decor of the room. Comfortable and quiet. Loved the hospitable owner/ host, Cyndi. Dog friendly with huge mowed backyard to walk our dog. Convenient location and great restaurant on site.
It exceeded our expectations! Cutest suite ever! It felt like we were in a cabin. It had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy! The staff couldn’t have been nicer! We will definitely stay there again!!
Absolutely awesome stay!! Super spacious open concept rooms. Great kitchen area, lounging spaces, and comfortable beds and linens/pillows. Hot water for full bath!!! So comfy and cozy and complete with everything I needed. Will absolutely stay again!
We enjoyed our two nights stay here. It was very clean, had everything we needed, very close to Helen. Check in and out instructions were very clear. Communication was very good. We had a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, which was a plus. We are very satisfied and can recommend Nacoochee Valley Lodge to everybody.
Excellent place to stay just outside of Helen or if you are planning to go to a few wineries. The staff at next door, DugOut restaurant, were fantastic also.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. It was very quiet and restful. I liked the oversized room. It was not the most comfortable mattress. The couch was not comfortable, when sitting on it it sank so low. I prefer something a little sturdier. On the second day an older man knocked on my car window after I drove up and insisted I was at the wrong unit. I kept telling him my name and that #5 was my correct unit. He finally realized he was talking to the wrong person. He said some other woman had been jerking him around. I found this very disturbing. Not a good way to treat a customer!
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Helen. The location was perfect—peaceful, surrounded by nature, yet close enough to enjoy all the attractions, restaurants, and shops in town.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and we especially enjoyed spending time on the deck taking in the beautiful scenery. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the bar and restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. It was a great option to relax and enjoy a meal without having to leave the property.
