We stayed in the Junior Suite Oceanfront, and the room itself was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. Unfortunately, several issues took away from the overall experience.
The balcony chairs and cushions were very dirty, the coffee machine didn't work, and the refrigerator never got cold enough to keep drinks chilled. The hallways outside our room also frequently smelled like marijuana.
We had lunch at Tula while family was visiting, and the service was a bit disappointing. Our waitress forgot multiple food and drink items, making the meal take much longer than it should have.
At the pool, I asked about renting a cabana. Neither the server nor the manager she brought over knew the pricing and said they would bring me a price sheet, but they never did. Instead, I was told it was $400, including champagne and fruit. Since no one in our group drinks alcohol and the pool was nearly empty, I was surprised there wasn't a more flexible option, such as a discounted or partial-day rate.
The property has a lot of potential and the room itself was very nice, but improvements to maintenance, service, and guest accommodations would make for a much better experience.
