Comfortable and adorable

This property was perfect for us and our 4 kids. We all loved the decor and the furnishings were all comfortable and sufficient for our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway

We had an amazing stay. Definitely recommend staying here. The Gibsons were awesome hosts. Their home was lovely, clean and matched the description perfect. It was a perfect fit for our family of 4. They were very welcoming and answered any questions we had very quickly. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in y’all’s home.

Great Stay!

Great little house in a quiet neighborhood. Relatively close to everything! Hot tub was great, my family really enjoyed the evenings in it after all the walking we did everyday!

Great family/friends trip

The house was perfect for our stay. Location close to shopping and some good food. Hot tub was our morning and evening spot to just relax either before or after a day of sight seeing. Manitou Springs was a easy 30 minute drive made the trip many times.

Lovely stay. Very comfortable beds! Well appointed kitchen. Aspects of the house and garden are in need of a little attention but this did not impede the enjoyment of our stay.

Lovely Accommodations

My only suggestion would be that it is time to replace the carpet in the entry way. It is the first thing you see when you enter the property. Otherwise, lovely! Thanks.

Fantastic Space for Families

We had an incredible stay at this property. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great touch and the space in general is great. We stayed here with my in-laws for my sister in law’s wedding and it was perfect for all of us and our kids. We will be back!

Great Home!!

Lovely property! It is as described, comfy and spacious. The hot tub was amazing as well! Close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The beds were comfy and the shower has killer water pressure :) thick-haired girls will appreciate this 😂 The hosts were so accommodating and very responsive when I had a question.

The house is conveniently located for spending a week with our daughter who’s attending USAFA. The hot tub was awesome on the below zero night, anyone’s hair above the water froze 😂!

Family Vacation

We found the property as described. It was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. Our only suggestion is to have better lighting in the backyard by the hot tub.

Close to USAFA

We rented this property to be close to USAFA to be close to my daughter. This property was perfect because when she stayed with me on the weekends there was space for her to relax and enjoy. I loved the backyard where there was a place to have a fire and relax while grilling. This is now at the top of my list of places to stay in Colorado Springs!

it was the most beautiful house we have rented so far through VRBO. Everything was so tastefully decorated and nicely equipped. The only problem we had was that we had to keep entering guest password atleast 2-3 times daily.

Enjoyed our stay

We were a bit surprised to see that there were stairs up to the main living area and down to the lower bedroom and bathroom. It was not a problem for us, but might be for some. We enjoyed our stay very much. The back patio is lovely. The yard is nice for kids to run around. The bottom bedroom is large and has a king and queen bed in it. It was pretty chilly downstairs. We got in bed and eventually warmed up.

Pros and cons

Things are pretty outdated. If you have young children I probably wouldn’t book here. The hot tub was nice, appreciated the coffee provided. Loved that there was a high chair there.

Perfect Family Spot

We had a nice stay at this home. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood and very convenient to some walking trails, Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. We were visiting our college daughter for her family weekend. Our family of four (2 teens) had plenty of room to spread out and was very comfortable. We cooked some big meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The back yard is really pretty, and we enjoyed sitting out there and, in the evenings, the hot tub was so nice. We had one minor issue with the door batteries running low, and the owners were super responsive, and we did not miss a beat. Thanks for a nice stay!

Great house!

Our family stayed here three nights recently and enjoyed the convenience of location to things we wanted to visit in Colorado Springs. They had almost everything we needed. Just a heads up there is no 9x13 baking dish. Other than that they had everything and were very nice and easy to work with. Would definitely book this house again!

Christmas 2022

Rented for Christmas with son who lives in Colorado. House is in neighborhood with good location. Very quiet and very little street traffic. Home was clean, had great family room, strong wifi and streaming services on TV. Hot Tub worked great and was a great asset. Home is near multiple grocery stores, restaurants and activities. Ann was super responsive to any questions. No problems or issues during stay. Would certianally rent this again.

Great family getaway!!

Me, my husband, our 20 month old daughter and my parents all stayed at this house during Thanksgiving. Everything was clean upon arrival and they even had a bottle of wine waiting for us! After 8 hours in a car with a toddler, the wine was much appreciated. The house had all the necessities, including a pack n play for our kiddo (so helpful to not have to lug ours). It was centrally located to grocery stores, restaurants, and all the fun adventures the Springs offers. We've experienced several homeaway stays and this is definitely one of the best. If you're looking for a clean, spacious jumping off point for your travels, this is a great home with excellent owners who seem to care very much about your experience and their property.

Great little spot close to what we wanted

We had a really great time for our 2 days in the CO Springs area. This location was great for us. We were really impressed with how easy it was to get around the immediate area. There was a grocery store and Sams both close. The house was very nice and perfect for our family of 4. Property was as described. It has a few bumps and bruises in some walls, doors and floors, but to be expected for a rental. Nothing that was distracting or took away from the experience. Even though it was not in immediate area of Pikes Peak and g of the g's, it was still close enough to be very convenient and this area was much less crowded. Would definitely stay again
