“The beautiful property is secluded enough for relaxation, yet only 10 minutes from the grocer. The cabin is very well put together using what appears to be reclaimed/refurbished materials from the period. It has all the moderns of today with the feel of 'Grampa's Cabin'.We hope to make this our regular accommodations while visiting nearby family. Thanks for the memories!”

“All good. The grills need to be maintained better. Also trash collection could be improved. The dock was supreme. TY for the stay.”

“We had a great time. House is beautifully decorated and everything was wonderful. If I had to give 1 negative would be the walk to the dock. It is not for the weak. But it was worth it being the fishing queen for the week. Will definitely stay again.”

“Lakeview was AMAZING Clean and comfortable 2bed 2 bath house.Simple, no frills inside BUT we spent a lot of time on the almost wrap around deck.Access could be slightly tricky when it rains. Get there before sunset to locate cabin.Bring board games or activities if internet gets flaky...or just sit gazing at the lighthouse and lake and birdsThank you!!”

We enjoyed the kayaks available and the cove is very quiet and calm. It is a summer trip our family will remember We will book the property again in the future for family lake trips or bass tournaments! Pam was a very nice and approachable host we had everything we needed within the house. ”

“Awesome get away for few days”

“We enjoyed oue time at the Steampunk. It is very relaxing and since there is no tv tou really get to enjoy each other. The property is beautiful.”

“We had a wonderful time at Gabbie’s Getaway. The home was adorable, very clean and well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of clean linens and towels! The furnishings were nice and couches were very comfortable. The doc area is very nice as well. Full disclosure on the treck down to dock was slightly steeper than expected but in no way a deterrent. I would just want to add that if you had physical disabilities or older it might be a little……
