“From the description, the property appeared to be a charming renovated farmhouse. It did not disappoint! The home itself has a wonderful history which was captured by the host in a beautiful presentation booklet in the living room. The updates did not distract from the original architecture which was still observable in many spaces. “All three generations enjoyed our week here. Two living rooms allowed grandchildren to watch tv or play video games while adults could enjoy tv and conversation. Four king size beds? "The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for breakfast, some trying to open the emergency exit—which triggered a loud alarm. The real issue started after 7 a.m, when the emergency exit began functioning as a regular door. Guests continuously came in and out, causing the door to slam shut every 2–3 minutes. The loud banging made it impossible to rest. It was truly exhausting and disrupted our rest completely. Getting a good night’s sleep is one of the main reasons to stay at a nice hotel, and sadly, that didn’t happen here. All in all, this property is ok—but if you're assigned room 126, 128, or any room near the emergency exit, request a room change to avoid a similar experience. "
