"This was a beautiful stay and the host/owner is so incredibly sweet and accommodating to any needs you may have. Highly recommended doing dinner on-site at least once as it is very much worth the cost. If you're planning on being in Urubamba, stay here!"

"This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character.
Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive
The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well.
Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly.
The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. It’s a work in progress.
Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village

"Lovely hotel, really enjoyed the quiet, calm setting at the foot of a steep mountain, with the sound of a stream rushing by and wonderful gardening including tons of flowers. Adding to the peace and quiet, the rooms are in separated cottages, with fireplaces, big comfy beds, good linens, and outdoor seating. "One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. "There are very few places that can truly be rated 5 star. For us, five star means, beautiful grounds, peaceful, clean, and safe location, and helpful staff. During our stay, Kuychi Rumi earned this highest rated due to the fantastic rooms, room service, and their prompt manager Johan.
