“We love Decorah for a weekend getaway from the Twin Cities and the Bluffside Gardens was the PERFECT place to stay. It was right off the trout run trail so we could go biking right from our room without having to drive anywhere. Easy access to downtown and the room was very spacious and clean. Comes as a warning that there are stairs…they are definitely more difficult when having to carry luggage up/down them, so take that into consideration if you’re bringing a lot. We were only there one night and our kids are old enough to help so it was fine. Not sure that the air was working great - would have liked it a little cooler while sleeping.……

“Convenience was excellent. Hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. I know it's difficult with a shared kitchen area to keep things clean. But it was definitely not in the best condition. Since we did not require the use of the kitchen, it didn't really affect us. Some of the rooms did smell a little musty. Also, with an older historic, building I know this is a difficult task to keep things fresh. Enjoyed my stay overall.”
