"The property is small and charming; all the staff is so hospitable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach is small and can be crowded but it is beautiful and the walk down to the beach is a nice fantastic jungle hike . We had monkeys on our veranda daily. The pool temp was perfect. The food is great. The breakfast buffet is more than substantial. The only disappointment is the spa only had one worker and no availability though signs up everywhere advertising it. Felt silly and useless. We would most definitely stay here again! "

"I was in room 35, and it was eye level with a guarumo tree upper canopy. It was great because this tree attracts sloths, monkeys and aracari and yellow throated toucans, all of which I saw and enjoyed from the comfort of my balcony. That room had a beautiful view of the ocean, rainforest and wildlife. It was amazing."

"We spent out 26th anniversary at Ecotica and we had a blast! The staff was awesome, the free breakfast is great but you can order what you want, you don't have to order from the menu. We enjoyed YOLO just about every night, they have board games, pool table and great food/staff. We saw macaws, toucans, white faced capuchin monkeys, squirrel monkeys and howlers from our balcony, it was an OASIS. The resort is small but we didn't feel cramped or crowded. We spent our mornings and evenings on the balcony listening to the surrounding nature. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area. "

"This hotel definitely has the best views in Manuel Antonio. The sunset and the view of the ocean were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend eating dinner at the hotel restaurant during sunset. We were on the top floor with ocean view and it was stunning. The only issue was that the elevator would go up to our floor but it wouldn’t go down. We didn’t mind walking down the stairs but it was tough when we were going to check out and had to carry our luggage. "
