"We loved the river behind the home, its one of the prettiest rivers and so much fun to play in and climb on the big rocks. The grandchildren loved the upstairs playroom and the outside playground with climbing wall, slide & swings!!! The adults loved the large rooms & indoor and outdoor games. It was so well located to walking trails, parks and downtown. This place was amazing. The owner is immediate with communications ."

"Hotel is very clean and reception employees very pleasent and helpful. Breakfast was ok too. If they had eggs other than the hard boiled that they did have, with sausage...I'd give them a 10/10. "

"Staying at Randy & Kim’s cabin was like a step back in time- we had such a wonderful stay. The cabin was so inviting and comfortable. At night you could step out on the porch and hear the music of the crickets! The cabin was immaculate. The decor was so fitting of a cabin in the country, beautiful. It was fun checking out all of Kim”s beautiful home-made yard art. We felt like we were out in the country but yet just a short drive and you are in town. Very convenient. We enjoyed coffee on the porch while sitting in the swing and the rocking chairs. We came from California to visit Mayberry Days and this cabin was the perfect choice.“Mr. Jingles” was a delightful kitty cat - so friendly and loving. He would greet us at the door every morning with his scratchy little meow!Randy and Kim are such nice, friendly people, great hosts. We loved visiting with them. Kim introduced us to their animals. The donkeys were so adorable as were the goats, ducks, and rabbit. Being from California we don’t have the opportunity to see farm animals!!- so fun!! The Keurig coffee maker and coffees were a nice addition for the morning. Thank you for leaving us the delicious bread and treats.We had never been to North Carolina before and staying at Randy and Kim’s cabin was the absolute highlight of our trip!! We can’t wait to go back and stay again! - thank you for your gracious hospitality. "

"Well lit parking. Easy to find. Outside stairs/ outside doors. No elevator. Clean room. Beds are comfortable. AC rattled some so I had to mess with the settings to get that to stop. Didn’t eat the breakfast. Good hotel if you need a clean room and shower for a night. "

"This was our 2nd stay, in two years, visiting family. Absolutely cannot fault this property and Liz. Beds are very comfortable, showers are hot, kitchen accommodates cooking. There's lovely outside space, front and back. We're never staying anywhere else."
