This aged property served its purpose well. The husband and wife (I assume) owners were helpful and made the process go smoothly. Linens were not spotless but seemed clean enough for me to have one of the best night's rests I have had in a while.

Cleanliness is a zero, but staff is so nice that although I has to bleach and sanitize, floor in bathroom was extra dirty toilet feces around the rim inside of the toilet bowl dirt behind the door in the bathroom blankets did not look clean or smell clean holes from whatever in addition to that it looked like there might have been some types of body subscriptions refrigerator does work however extremely dirty on the inside was not able to put our refrigerated food inside. Overall the experience wasn’t bad. Staff was helpful and nice. However cleanliness is definitely a zero but I did not feel right due to how nice the staff was putting a one star so I gave that 182.. if corporate happens to read this FYI note that even if you don’t have the number of employees needed to clean each and every room properly, having staff that has a positive caring attitude, outshines, or makes problems look Manute..

I was a little hesitant after reading reviews about this hotel. However due to booking on a nonrefundable room I decided to stay here anyway. To be next to the interstate it was actually pretty quiet. The man and lady that owns it were extremely nice all the times I dealt with them. The rooms weren't completely nasty, although there were some body hair in the bed and bathtub. The bed was comfortable also. It was a place to get a good night's rest. I just wish there were more than 2 pillows on the bed. That is really my only complaint. If I needed too I would stay here again.

It's a 2* property so you are going to get what you pay for. The check-in was great, very helpful person on the desk. There's plenty of parking. The property is showing its age. It could do with a general refresh. The room was OK, plenty of space and it was clean. The bedding, shower curtain and towels could all do with replacing....someone had burnt a couple of holes in the cover of the bedding, the shower curtain was stained and the towels should have been replaced awhile ago.

Rooms where fairly dirty, but what was the very worst was when the mattress was lifted up, there was no plastic waterproof bed liner that most hotels put on mattress to protect from bed bugs, pee and other stains. Long story short under the mattress was a bunch of dog hair dirt food and also dead bed bugs. I didn't stick around long enough to see if there was any actual live ones. Your customer service at the front desk of an older lady and gentleman were fantastic.

Vacation stop

Was a bare as bones room, but was extremely comfortable bed. Great price for what we needed. Will definitely stay again when in area. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Extremely nice price. Easy to locate right off interstate.

Basic, but cleaner than other cheap places

It was basic, but clean. The owners are old and can come across rude but it's fine, at least it's clean. I was uneasy at first because I had not heard the best things about this location and its safety, but they're doing a good job on the renovations, and it's very affordable.

Staff was friendly, price was great, exterior lighting was greatly appreciated, and the bathroom was in good condition overall. Bed sheets, comforter, and bath vanity had stains and cigarette burn marks on them. The main room could use a fresh coat of paint (to make the overall feel cleaner) and fresh sheets, bedding, and towels would elevate the entire experience.

Express what?

Good stay, new owners have done well with remodeling it and making it look nice. Slept good. Place was quieter than expected which is always a plus. The $65 a night is way too high of a cost for a room with no amenities at all.. Just basic everything. Except no ice machine!!! And a microwave outside for community use. where they do that at?? EXPRESS INN. Surprisingly no bugs! So thanks for that

You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for! Neighborhood seemed nice but the hotel area was sketchy. People loitering around outside lobby and once we went to bed (around 11 pm) men were yelling and it just seemed scary. Sheets were clean, water was hot, beds were comfortable, it was just the atmosphere that was not good.

It had the amenities of a prison cell. No chair, the only light came from two overly bright ceiling fixtures. No ice machine available. Not a single place to hang clothes. (no "door-hooks", coat hanger bar etc.) "Non-smoking" room stunk of cig. smoke. I would leave the door open as long as I could upon arriving each day in an attempt to "air-it-out". No carpet and floor was sticky. Do NOT walk around bare-footed ! On the "good" side, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had new fixtures, and the "help" was pleasant, although English is obviously NOT their primary language. Needless to say this is on my "NEVER-Stay-there-Again" list even if the price was free!
