“We came for a girls weekend for my mom’s 70th. We had a wonderful time! The condo is beautiful and clean. Had everything we needed. The host Chad was very responsive and accommodating. The location was perfect, walkable to almost everything. We hope to be back for a future stay.”

“Neat little studio above a garage. Quiet neighborhood but an 8 minute walk has you in town to take advantage of shopping, restaurants, and adult beverages. Very comfortable king bed. Nice sized mini fridge for leftovers and drinks. Water pressure in the shower is…strong. Nicely furnished. Wifi (35 Mbps) is fine. Note: there is no dishwasher in the unit, even though messages I received referred to one. Would certainly stay here again when next in Saugatuck.”

“I stayed at the condo in Douglas for 4 nights. Loved the location, close walk to lake shore, 10 min walk to Farmers Deli and downtown Douglas. I even challenged myself to walk to downtown Saugatuck, was little long about 45 min one way. Very spacious and bright condo, it has everything you need to stay for just a weekend or longer. Very nicely updated kitchen, freshly painted. It was pretty quiet, I didn’t hear any neighbors from upstairs. Carpet could use a shampoo, I saw some stains and shower...

“The pictures don’t do it Justice. The Black Pearl has everything you need and is well thought out with nice touches. Location is perfect-short walk to restaurants, shops & theater and about 10-15 min walk along boardwalk to pier and beach. We stayed three nights with our two teenagers and having two bathrooms was great. Beds are comfy, fireplace is a nice surprise and the kitchen is well appointed. Would highly recommend.”

“My best friend lives in South Haven and I told her I would find a perfect place for a week's staycation. This was it! The fact that it was 2 bed/2 bath, made for lounging with a huge sectional and a large tv, located in the middle of it all, and is a sophisticated reimaging of an historic school sealed the deal. “We wanted something that was walking distance to downtown and the lake. This property gave both. We were able to walk to different parts of the lake from this property and easy walking to the main downtown/ Martine Museum. There is a full kitchen with most supplies. The layout of the place was nice as well. The bridge that goes over the Black River is right outside and it didn’t affect our sleeping. I even brought ear plugs just incase and never used them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay....

“Our family had a relaxing time in South Haven and Holland this week while staying at this sweet house. Everything about the house was nice and clean. Thank you for a tea pot! Plenty of kitchen supplies and place settings. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Lots of extra towels is always nice. We were only minutes from town to get groceries and from restaurants. We were also walking distance to the beach. However, we like Van Buren State Park best for their beach, especially if you...
