"The Oriole was the perfect honeymoon stay. We stayed 3 nights in October. Weather wasn't great but we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the screen in porch. The cottage is perfect for a couple. Only downsides were the hot tub jets didnt work great and the shower head needs a deep clean. Check in and out were super easy. Host responded to our one question very quickly. Overall would definitely stay here again. "

"I was pleasantly surprised to see that you could see the water from where we were, it’s a limited view, but still there. The room is quite small but I knew this from the other reviews. I agree with the bed down, there is no room to move around. It suited our needs for a quick weekend away, but wouldn’t be able to do a long week stay there. It is very clean and we appreciated the supplies there for us to use like the bathroom soaps, dish soap and paper towels. It’s a great walk from downtown and is very quiet. Again, wonderful for a weekend overnight but not suited for a long week there since you can’t cook and it would be too cozy. "

"The Roost was Perfect! Clean, cozy and just a few blocks from town so easy walking on sidewalks to get to town. I would stay at The Roost again and would highly recommend it to a couple traveling to this area. The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and we had everything we needed. "
