“We had a great stay very easy to access no problems. Close to the Soccer fields we needed to go to. We had a great stay!”

“We loved this neighborhood. We had close access to Union Station, Circulator bus and the H street bus. We are 4 retirees who enjoyed a week in DC. The only down side was there was no toaster, oven or cooktop; although we managed just fine. The host communicated regularly and quickly when we had questions. Minor repairs should be done but overall a 5 star stay!”

“We stayed here to visit the Mall and it was exactly as described. The walk to the Metro is a little longer then we'd hoped (took about an hour to get down on the Mall from our house), but the neighborhood is lovely and the grocery store on the way to and from the Metro was super handy. We'd stay again!”

“This property was in excellent condition. A wonderful place to go “home” to every night after our day in DC. Public transportation is nearby so you can just park your vehicle and ride. One of the best places we have stayed.”

“The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. It was very nice for a long weekend in DC. It does have a lot of stairs. Would not recommend for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs. For those who plan to use the metro there was not a metro station within walking distance.”

“We had a couple of issues occur, the cleaning lady came back in after we were checked in which was weird to us because we were not there and are stuff was. Our bedsheets werent clean other peoples hair was found in 2 of the 3 beds as well as some ants and crumbs. there was a playset out back but the grass was very high so it wouldnt exactly be great for kids to play on when you cant see whats in the yard. overall for us, it was a great location out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that...

“Property served as an excellent Hill base camp for exploring DC. Walkable to grocery store, playgrounds, parks, museums, metro, Mall, Pennsylvania Ave. Well-equipped kitchen allowed for some “home” cooking. The price is high, considering the condition of the house, though it’s not in poor shape. Had a great weekend.”

“Very clean and updated house in a very convenient location. Nice neighborhood but close to highways and conveniences. Would be nice to have dressers or luggage stands in bedrooms. Beds seem to be listed in “European sizing”, meaning their “King” bed was what is called a Queen in US and their Queens are really full or doubles. But, beds were comfortable and area is quiet. Downstairs “suite” with bedrooms, bath and living room was great for our daughter, son-in-law and their 2 year old. Nice...

“Perfect way to end every site-seeing day. Clean home, everything stylish and modern, and hosts were very responsive and kind. Plus, easy to find street parking. We found parking right in front of the house every evening all four days. Would highly recommend!”

“Clean home with comfortable beds. Easy to get to all the sites in DC. About a 12-14 minute walk to subway, but we usually choose a 2 minute walk to the bus- very easy to use. Host responded quickly to all our questions. Some street noise, but normal for a stay in a city.”

“Everyone loved the place and it's location to the metro/city. We had all ages and families from no kids to many kids. The home was clean and having so many bathrooms was awesome! Only complaint from everyone there was the bedding. The pillows/sheets were very cheap quality, some even went and bought their own pillows. It would probably be beneficial to bring your own if this bothers you.”

“Nice House really close to to Washington. Dishwasher and Washing machine really come in handy. We used the car to get to the National Mall and the surrounding sights. Preordered Parking in one of the garages. Metro or Lynk/Uber would work fine also.”

“We enjoyed our weeklong vacation during Spring Break. This home was very clean. The owner is incredibly prompt to respond and communicate. There could be more kitchen utensils and dishware for guest use. The neighborhood did not instill a sense of security for us. Local neighbors were yelling at all hours, and we did not feel safe to walk to the Benning Rd metro stop. Instead, we drove to the Capitol Heights stop, as we could use the Park and Ride lot there.”
