“Apartment pictures did not match the present state of the place. There was a huge hole in the wall that had been temporarily patched. Paint all over the floor. The wood flooring also had gaps in it. Had a stench, musty smell. Not in condition to be rented out. Aside from the poor state of the apartment, Host was easy to contact with our concerns and allowed us to cancel. We just had to forfeit the money that goes to VRBO. This was our first time booking with VRBO. Hope this isn’t the norm.”
