Fernandina Beach is one of my favorite places in all of Florida and the Springhill Suites there is a fantastic property from which to enjoy the locale!

I enjoyed the area and there is plenty of things in walking distance. My only dislike was with the cleanliness of the room. When we got there the room had dog food and popcorn on the floor and the room in general smelled like a dog shelter.

Pro: Great outdoor swimming pool area, especially for the kids. Clean hotel and room. Lots of towels in room, extra pillows, sheets and blankets were in the closet. Very close to the beach (walkable in a few minutes). Con: Continental breakfast was not good. Parking was $15. Lobby bathroom stall did not latch. Room sink did not drain.

The location only. The room was terrible. Had to pickup towels from the front desk every day, take our trash out every day. The only freshened up the rooms every three days. The sofa and seat was hard and uncomfortable. The free breakfast was the worst, the eggs were cold and sausages were made of sawdust I think. We will never return to that hotel!

The staff was wonderful. The pool area great and we had a great view of the ocean. 7 mins drive to historical island and you very close to fort. Only complaint was very dirty with mold around shower door.

They never cleaned the room. Said every three days, that’s ridiculous.z had to ask for clean towels. Bathroom had little worms crawling around on floor. Could not stand going in there. Won’t be returning anytime soon
