Great little yurt
My wife and I needed a place to stay after being at the Grand Canyon and heading to the Utah parks. This place was perfect for that. Sitting on the porch and watching the elk was great for unwinding. The only negative is the drive to the place was on a washboard dirt road.

Beautiful and unique property
Overall we had a wonderful stay. We arrived late Thursday and left Sunday morning. To get to the property, you’ll go down two dirt roads which are pretty bumpy. If you are traveling in weather aka snow, please make sure you have the proper vehicle to make it through on the dirt roads. We arrived to a very clean property and a basket of goodies on the table. My girls were thrilled. Everything was ready for our stay which was so refreshing after a long drive. The home inside is so unique and beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. You really just have to come and see it first hand. All the wood work, stained glass, is just stunning. The master bedroom is private and spacious. The windows on the ceiling were pretty cool to view the stars at night. The living room was nice and spacious and homey. Loved all the windows and beautiful circular ceiling and skylight. In the kitchen, we loved the beautiful wood cabinets, gas range, nice big clean fridge, dishwasher, and that there is filtered water. Bathroom, nicely updated with stackable washer/ dryer. Pretty tile work and large open shower, no tub. Couldn’t find an outlet so used a bedroom outlet. Porch area of home was cute, my girls loved the hanging swing seat, and swinging ropes. There is another property near the home but we never saw anyone and it still felt nice and private. Loved all the trees and peaceful nature surroundings. We would love to stay again. Highly recommend.

A great getaway off the main roads
We loved our stay. It’s quiet and so peaceful. It’s about 2 miles off the highway. Trails to walk and is pet friendly. Communication with the owner was quick. She was very friendly. The yurt cabin was unique, clean, beautiful, very cozy and warm.

OR Yurtworks yurt in AZ
This place is an Oregon Yurtworks yurt, but don't mistake it for a tent or some other kind of semi-permanent structure that call themselves 'yurts'. This is an attractive, light filled, well insulated, and very nicely finished building. I was a foreman for a couple of years for the company that built these in Eugene OR . This one is a beauty. The finish work including the stone and tile, the cabinetry and the finish carpentry are all of exellent quality. It was a pleasure staying in this home for a couple of nights. The location is at the end of a gravel road, and is in an unfenced area of pines and grassland. We were able to go for a short hike and hit national forest within a mile. The main drawback for us is that there is another house that is close by, and some of the windows in the yurt open up to a view of this house. Other than that, we both enjoyed our stay in this unique place.

Very nice yurt, peaceful but junkyard on west side made sitting on deck less than ideal. Also no trails behind house, just a small road. Its all private property and sign on herrold ranch road says no forest access.

A little slice of heaven
This is a unique and charming, rustic cabin, yet with all the modern comforts of home, and very clean and well stocked. There are two large TVs with streaming options and great surround sound set-up, newer quality appliances, many outlets for your tech needs, etc. What a beautiful setting in the wooded meadows, with plenty of easy hiking trails! Nice variety of comfy outdoor furniture and great BBQ grill. We loved that the large wide deck with railing was perfect for our dog to relax and take in nature, while we also sat with our coffee or wine, relaxing, listening to the birds and the breeze in the Ponderosa pines. If you need to de-stress and/or completely relax, this is the perfect place! Lacey was attentive and promptly responded to any inquiries. She is a wonderful host! We stayed one week, and it definitely was a little slice of heaven!

Yurt in the pines
We had a wonderful time. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, but also totally accessible to everything! The portable A/C unit was very appreciated in the heat Flagstaff was having. There were tons of useful things to use in the kitchen and the bed was comfy. Communication was easy and we loved being able to bring our ten year old pup with us. We’re really grateful. Nice place!

Awesome Anniversary Gateway!
We loved this place! The yurt was clean, cozy and welcoming! The host Lacey was kind and gave all info needed. It was our 10 year anniversary and she added touches to make our stay special. Location was perfect and a quick car ride away from downtown Flagstaff. We were able to check out Williams, The Grand Canyon and Sedona on our visit. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wanting a cozy getaway in the pines!

In the Pines
Very, very nice 1 BR unit. Close to downtown Flagstaff, all it’s shops and nice parks. Unit is back in the woods, beautiful area, and great for hiking. Unit is extremely well furnished and has new appliances. Highly recommend, and will definitely stay there again! Thx.

Great getaway with our dog
We wanted to reward our old corgi for hitting one of of his weightloss milestones and picked this place. It was amazing the trail behind the cabin was easy for him to manage. The stairs up to the patio required assistance but other than that he loved this place. The interior was clean and well stocked. There were even some welcoming snacks <3. The neighbors dog was so adorable and friendly. We arrived just as the sun set so it was a little difficult to find the property in the dark but the neighbor helped us out. Almost tried to vacation in a shed lol. The patio has gates so the dog was happy to laze about and enjoy the weather after the hike on the trail. We had family an hour away so we were back and forth alot. You will definitely enjoy the hot shower and the stellar sound system when you get into relaxation mode. If you are allergic to dandelions bring your allergy meds but dont let that deter you from coming here to enjoy gazing up at the stars from the living rooms skylight. We will be back next summer. 10/10

Serenity in the woods.
My stay at this home was phenomenal. It was wonderful to be out of the city and close enough to enjoy anything and everything. Lacey was a tremendous hostess of her property. She takes meticulous care to ensure her guests needs are met. Highly recommend taking advantage of this oasis!!
