My husband became ill the evening we checked in and tested positive for covid. We told the front desk staff around 8 PM. at 1045 they called our room and demanded my husband go to the hospital. I said no he was sleeping and we will leave in the morning. the front staff employee says to leave very early, don't leave our room, don't mingle with the guests and don't come to the breakfast room. He wanted us to leave at 630 AM, but I said we plan on leaving at 9 AM which he wasn't pleased about. We paid for 2 nights and staff stated we would get our 2nd night refund which has not shown up on our card yet. I felt front office was inappropriate with his comments and demands. We know enough about covid and our intent is to leave and go back home where spouse can recuperate, no intention of leaving our room until we checked out and definitely not going to a hospital!

The fact that there are no elevators in this building and half of the rooms are inaccessible needs to be highlighted on the Expedia website. We had to downgrade our room to be able to stay here at all, which I discovered when we arrived. I know there is a line of text at the very bottom of the property description that says this, but that's not very obvious and I admit that I missed it.

Due to problems with unexpected rain, our afternoon outdoor activities went kaput. We arrived very early to check in and were graciously given a room by the front desk clerk.
