“This was not an easy or restful stay. There were multiple disruptions and I had to communicate with the host substantially more than I would have liked throughout the four-night stay. I will not return. The unit was not sufficiently clean. Dust, pet or human hair, ants, dead bugs, etc. Upon my request, they offered to do another cleaning but it was in the evening and halfway through my stay. Also, the garage door opener (remote) wasn’t in the unit, making using the garage inconvenient. The host……

“We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely give this place 5 stars. The setting is beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and exactly what you hope for in Oregon wine country. The space was very clean and thoughtfully maintained. You can tell it used to be a tasting room, but they’ve made great use of it and created a comfortable place to stay. The only small touch that would have made it even more special would be a complimentary bottle of wine, given it’s located at a winery. Other than that,……

We were unable to reach anyone from either the property or Vrbo who could help at the time, so we had to spend part of our vacation finding another place to stay. “The cottage is a full, small house complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. It is 1/2 block from the Chehalem Cultural Center and 2 blocks from coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants/bars in a residential area. It is about a 1/2 mile from a grocery store. We did not walk or go to George Fox, but I believe the campus is a short walk from the house. Ours was a mother-daughter weekend with a 3 month old baby. It would be perfect for a couple. ……
