“Super cute and close to anything in Medicine Park that you would want to do. The hosts were extremely hospitable. They had fresh eggs from their hens on the counter for us to have for breakfast and a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy in the evening. If you are looking for a weekend getaway with your special someone, this is the place to stay.”

“The Flute Player is a perfect cabin for our sisters trip to hike in Wichita Mountains NWR. It is so close to the refuge and there are many good places to eat nearby. The cabin is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the AC works great after being in the heat all day. The host is friendly and makes sure your needs are met. While we didn't use it this visit the swim area, Bath Lake, looks inviting. The cabin is quiet and had everything we needed. I'll definitely come visit again and stay here or……

“Our first stay on a houseboat. We had a great time, the lake and Medicine Park primitive and yet interesting. There are things about boat living that we had to adjust to, but that's part of the adventure. The is an outside shower/bathroom and water use in the sink is mechanical. Not an issue!! Just know your not staying in a hotel and do go to Hideaway expecting to stay on a houseboat not a condominium. You must go to the surrounding attractions and plan on fishing!!!!”

“Its a great pkace to stay since its right near the resort area but far enough away for peace and quiet. Very cloae to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.where we did alot of hiking. The cabin is nicely remodeled and clean.”
