"An amazing place! Our room was clean and spacious. They have a beautiful common lobby and kitchen where you can hangout and interact with other guests. The fridge had a basket for every room, so you can store your perishable food items, very convenient and thoughtful! And as the name suggests, there is a mountain right behind the property. We saw Aoudads, mule deer and a roadrunner. The road leading to the inn from the main street is a bit rough, but driving slow takes care of it. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay if you're visiting Fort Davis! "

"Our room was huge. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was a rollaway ready to go in the closet. The bathroom was very small but workable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The morning coffee was the best hotel coffee I've ever had. The whole vibe of the hotel is awesome!"

"The house was great however the town didn’t have many restaurant options. I would suggest planning to cook in when you stay unless you’re willing to travel to Marfa or alpine every night for dinner. "
